Cisbio

Detection of human IL18 using HTRF (an alternative to ELISA) Cisbio kit 62HIL18PEG.

Also called IGIF (interferon gamma inducing factor), IL18 is a pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted mainly by macrophages. Its biological activity is close to that of IL12, and it can enhance NK cell activity as well as induce IFNg secretion by PBMC. An important role of IL18 is in eliminating VEGF from the eye, thus protecting the retina. It is used together with anti-VEGF antibodies in the treatment of AMD (age-related macular degeneration). As well as this physiological role, IL18 dysregulation leads to severe inflammatory reactions. Cisbio's Human IL18 kit is a homogeneous, add and read assay to measure IL18 secretion in supernatant. It offers a fast, efficient alternative to ELISA.

This data analysis tool performs quantitative analysis of samples using a 1/y² weighted Four Parameter Logistic (4PL) curve fit. Provide your ratio calculated measurement data (665nm/620nm). Calculations are performed as follows:

1. Delta Ratio is computed for each sample using the zero standard (Zero).

2. The standard data points (Concentration vs. Delta Ratio) are plotted and the curve is fitted through the points. The concentrations of the samples are determined from the fit with any specified dilution factors applied.

3. The %CV and Standard Deviation are calculated for each replicated sample.

Help You can supply your raw data in two ways:
  1. Enter (or Paste) the raw data into the edit box. Use the same format as the example data (i.e. numbers separated by spaces). More...
  2. Select a data file on your computer and press Upload. Most raw data file formats are automatically recognised and processed. Formats not currently supported can be added very quickly. More...
